Holliday Sessions/Sneak Peek Part 2
Hey everyone, it’s time for a quick update. Currently our songs are in the early stages of being mastered and we couldn’t be more excited. In fact, last weekend we did a quick preview of “The Parade” (ft. Laura Cole) last saturday. Since we like hearing your responses, we’ve decided to do it again this saturday (April 6th) with a slight twist. We want to know what you want to hear. would you rather something soft? Something rockin’? Maybe somewhere in the middle? Let us know by leaving us a comment on our facebook page or comment section under a status update, on our youtube channel, or right here on our website. And not only are we excited to get all of these songs out, but we’re very excited to rock out with Peace Clock coming up on Saturday May 11th at Cousin Vinny’s. A reminder tickets can be purchased in advance at Cousin Vinny’s or by calling 705-523-6581. $5 advance $7 at the door.
Sneak Peek
Hey all you wonderful interwebbers, we hope the long weekend is treating you all well. Incase we haven’t mentioned this enough, there’s a lot of action going on with the Dock Holliday crew. Not only have we been asked to join our new friends in Peace Clock on Saturday May 11th in our hometown of Sudbury, Ontario (details) but we also have our first EP in the works. Since we’re so impatient with stuff like this, we’ve decided to do a quick sneak peek of one of the tracks that’s nearest completion. “The Parade” (feat. Laura Cole) will be on display starting tomorrow (Saturday March 30th) at 11:00am for a 24-hour preview. Please make your way over to our facebook/reverbnation page and check it out and leave us some feedback.

Folk-Funken-Rockin It At Cousin Vinny’s May 11, 2013
We are extremely excited to announce that we will be heading to our respected birthplace of Sudbury ON this May. Dock Holliday is pleased to be sharing the stage with Sudbury’s own Peace Clock at Cousin Vinny’s Restaurant and Bar on May 11 (Day after Brad’s birthday, just saying). It has been awhile since the 3 of us had a chance to collaborate our musical efforts together in Sudbury and are excited to be coming back for a visit doing what we enjoy doing the most. Check out the event page on Facebook here and visit the official page of Peace Clock here.
See you in May Sudbury!

We Can Almost Taste the Green Beer…
St. Patrick’s Day is only 7 days away. The three of us have been hard at work getting ready for our 3 show weekend. First, we hit up Oakville, Ontario on Friday March 15th for the Dog Rescuer’s Shamrockin Pub Night at Bronte’s Sports Bar. We hit the stage at 7:30pm and again at 9:00pm, so come out and support this great fundraiser. Next, Brad and Brendan move onto Beamsville, Ontario at Butcher & Banker Pub on Saturday March 16th to continue the countdown to St. Patty’s Day. Finally, the trio meets up at the Young and Eglington Boston Pizza for the St. Patrick’s Day Party starting at 3:00pm and again at 7:30pm. Join us for drinks and some good irish drinking songs to go along with them.
Holliday Sessions Part 1
On February 9th & 10th we began work on our upcoming E.P. (release date to be announced…soon). Aside from ourselves, a few of our friends came by to help us out for a 20 hour beer, pizza, and gloryhole doughnut filled recording session. Here’s a preview of that very get together.
Countdown to St. Patrick’s Day with Dock Holliday
With February on the verge of ending, the countdown to our favourite event of the year is about to begin. February was a very productive month for us as we have nearly finished the tracking for our upcoming EP set to release this year. So far, all is well, and stay tuned for more news on that.
Our journey into March takes us back to The Judge and Jester March 9 where Brad and Brendan will be playing as a duo at the Judge and Jester. But that is just where the fun begins. We’ll also kick off the St. Patrick’s Day weekend in Oakville Ontario at Bronte’s to support a local Dog Rescuer’s Foundation who will be putting on an event of their own “Shamrockin”. If you are in the area, and support the Dog Rescuer’s Inc, come show your support and have an evening of Step Dancing and Live Music to enjoy.
Next up, we head out to Beamsville to continue the festivities at the Butcher and Banker on Saturday, March 16. Brad and Brendan will also be performing as a duo this particular evening.
Last stop, but not least, we hit Toronto all day for St. Patrick’s day. This time, Dock will be in full force at Boston Pizza at Yonge and Eglinton from 3:00 pm, onwards to 10:30 (with a bit of a breather inbetween of course). Once we are all wrapped up for St. Patrick’s Day 2013, we will be back home, March 22 at the Coach and Lantern to finish off a great month. Let’s kick off the spring with a bang!
Yours truly, Dock Holliday
