Hey everybody! 2012 is coming to an end, and what better way to celebrate the new year with friends, family and great people at Ancaster’s favourite pub, The Coach and Lantern!
Join us Monday, December 31, 2012 for an evening of friends, booze, music and New Years countdown as we leave 2012 behind and enter what is going to be another great year, 2013. Dock Holliday will be there in full force with Brad, Brendan and Jake.
Coach and Lantern has a great 2013 lineup as always so visit their website by clicking here.
We are going to be busy over the holiday season, so visit our upcoming shows page to see where you can find us over the Christmas and New Years Break.
Dock Holliday’s holiday season
Kind of a play on words misspelling Holliday for Holiday. But as gig season continues into the holiday season, we are finding ourselves playing a ton of great places including Boston Pizza at Yonge and Eglinton in Toronto and a brand new Fionn MacCool’s in Missauga this up coming weekend.
We are also being treating to some great acoustic songs by Brad, one featuring our extremely talented friend Laura Cole in the co-written tune “Happy”. Check out our band Facebook fan page by clicking this link.
As 2012 is winding down, we are keeping ourselves nice and busy by playing a few gigs on the road this holiday season. Stay tuned for some more gig news as well as what’s in store for 2013.
Cheers
Brendan
Upcoming Gigs – Visiting New Places
Hey everyone,
We are pretty excited for the next couple of weekends as we are hitting up some familiar, yet new spots.
First up, we are making our first stop in Guelph Ontario at one of our favourite bars, the brand new location for Fionn MacCool’s. If you are from Guelph, or in that general area, we will be playing this coming Saturday, October 13 from 10-1.
Next up, we will be gearing up for our first pub gig in Toronto. Following up to a great show we played at the Horseshoe Tavern back in July, we are excited to be back in Toronto at the Yonge and Eglinton Boston Pizza. We will be playing at this location Saturday, October 20, from 8-11 pm. Come out for some dinner and pre drinks and have the rest of the night to hang out with friends and have a great Saturday night.
Have a great week, see everyone soon.

Make a Request

Hello everyone! Seeing as summer is over and people are now huddling indoors, the Fall Season is always a great gig season. As much as we love playing year round, there is something about the Fall that brings people together. Could be Thanksgive’r, everyone is home from vacation, or the fall just brings good vibe for live music and pubs
Our philosophy on music is very simple, play the music YOU want to play. We’re not the type of guys to show up at every gig and play “Sex on Fire” or “Don’t Stop Believing”. We’re sorry, you as the audience do have a fair say in what you want to hear, but musicians like to enjoy themselves to. We love playing the songs we choose to play, and this past year has been nothing short of awesome. Everywhere we have been, we receive great feedback and heart warming comments that is always to good to hear because we know out of everyone who sees us, there are people who enjoy what you do not by the songs you play, but how well you perform them.
Send us suggestions for songs or bands in general that you would love to hear. If you are at our next gig, we may invite you up to sing along
. Just kidding, we’ll make a conscious effort to learn something by that band, and if we like that song enough, we’ll learn that one.
Things to consider. For those of you who have seen us play, you’ll know we have a wide range of musical taste. Everything from 60′s, 70′s and 80′s rock, 90′s rock, Grunge, Folk Rock, Rock, Punk, Edge 102.1 and even a little bit of hip hop here and there. Do not, and I mean please do not send us some top 40, one hit wonder or pop song.
We are revamping our set list, and need your help. Request away fans!
Fall Season = Gig season
Hello everybody!
We are extremely excited to get back into the swing of things after almost a month off. We played a couple of shows with our friend Gillian Nicola this past month which was a lot of fun, but now we are getting ready to get back into the pub circuit. Starting tonight, Brad and I are going to be playing as a two piece at the Coach and Lantern in Ancaster Ontario.
Few gigs that are coming up include Judge and Jester in Grimsby, Coach and Lantern in Ancaster and the brand new Fionn MacCool’s in Guelph.
Dundas Cactus Festival
Hey everyone, just wanted to give an update for the remainder of the summer. We have been on a little bit of a break but are now back to playing starting this mid August week. Needless to say we had an awesome time playing at the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern with some great musicians from the Toronto area. Thanks for all the support from both the audience as well as from the other bands and artists who performed.

Ancaster Heritage at The Coach and Lantern

On Saturday June 09, The town of Ancaster will be celebrating the 29th annual Ancaster Heritage Day. These days are filled with fun events and activities for the whole town to take part in throughout the day. This years theme is the War of 1812. We will be at our favourite pub in all of Hamilton, The Coach and Lantern providing entertainment for the day. That’s right, the entire day!
In the afternoon, Brad and Brendan will be playing from 1:00-4:00 pm an arrangement of their favourite songs for the folks at The Coach and Lantern. Inbetween, we will be taking a well deserved napped to gear up for the evening when Dock Holliday as a whole will be playing from 9:00 pm – Close. Brad, Brendan, and Jake Soucie will be together performing some new covers and originals songs all night long.
